Insituform Blue® Introduces New Name for Family of High-Density Polyethylene Products
Includes existing HDPE pipe renewal products

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., May 16, 2008 -- Insituform Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq Global Select Market: INSU), announced today that it is introducing a new name for its family of close-fit lining solutions. The new PuraGuard™ brand family includes Insituform Blue®’s existing PolyFlex™ and PolyFold® product solutions for drinking water pipelines. 

HDPE Water PipeThe PuraGuard™ brand family includes high-density polyethylene renewal products for drinking water distribution and transmission mains. The products are NSF-approved and have been implemented in a variety of project conditions including underneath railroads and highways and spanning across bridges.  Like other Insituform Blue™ solutions, PuraGuard™ products cut down on digging and disruption while helping communities reduce water loss and improve water quality.

Products within the PuraGuard™ family help renew aging and deteriorated potable and pressure pipe lines by offering a semi- to fully-structural solution, adding 50 to 100 years on the life of the rehabilitated pipeline. 

Other products in the Insituform Blue family include the Insituform® Pressure Pipe Liner, iTAP® robotic service reinstatement and the Thermopipe® potable water lining system.
